General Description KDF media (or Kinetic Degradation Fluxion Media), is a chemical compound used in water filtration applications. KDF is often used along with activated carbon to maximise the filters efficiency. Generally KDF is used in a purification system as a pre-filter, before another, finer stage of filtration, for example, reverse osmosis, deionisation and ion exchange systems. Structure KDF water filtration media is a high-purity alloy of both copper and zinc, used in a flaked or granulated particulate form. Usually appearing gold or brass in colour. Application 1.High-Efficiently remove chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, unpleasant taste and odour. 2.Efficiently kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth. 3.Efficiently removes soluble heavy metal ions in water such as Pb2+ , Cd2+ ,Cr6+ , As3+ , Hg2+ , Mn2+ , Ni2+ , Al3+ , Fe3+ etc. 4.Efficiently remove hydrogen sulfide, calcium and other organic compounds.
